The project aims to strengthen the ongoing efforts for successfully integrating immigrants and Third Country Nationals into the local community. As part of these efforts, the Municipality of Peyia will organize at the local level, a three-day workshop with relevant discussions and presentations.
In addition, the ALL-IN transnational activities (workshops, discussions, groups, good practice visits, etc.) will aim to create a basis for promoting intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding and tolerance.
The consortium includes, among others, Cyprus, as the only divided country in the EU, as well as Kosovo, which has not yet been fully recognized by the International Society. In the context of the implementation of ALL-IN, each partner will seek to include different types of target groups, while the inaugural meeting will outline the most important aspects of active participation and voluntary work.
More specifically, each partner will collect 3-4 stories of immigrants, which will be published online as part of the “Faces of Immigration” activity. In order to move beyond the virtual experience, the project activities envisioned will also include real-life encounters with migrants to significantly enhance intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding and the fight against stigmatization of migrants and minority groups.
